When we first got to Winnipeg, I couldn't believe my eyes! I was in the backseat of an SUV and there was SO much traffic! I didn't know which way to look! Vehicles were whizzing by on both sides!
The hotel we stayed at had glass doors. I could see my reflection, but I didn't bark at myself. I'm practically a grown-up dog now.
I also got to ride in an elevator. That was freaky. I had to do it a few times before I got used to it.
At my grandma's house there was some awesome smells. I loved to sit on the front step and smell the roses.
Those roses smelled SO good!
I liked to go to the shore and bark at the seagulls and pigeons, but I DID NOT LIKE TO SWIM IN THE OCEAN!
The waves were too freaky. I was scared of them. My mom didn't make me go in. We just played on the beach.
I got a fancy haircut. They gave me a bandana that matched my leash.
I love my grandma. She calls me her Grand-dog.
Mom and I got to sleep in her carving shop in the backyard. Every morning we'd come inside and I'd go see my grandmama and she'd give me a great doggie massage. She's magic. I love her.
I ran a lot of laps when we went visiting. Here I am playing with a boy. We ran and ran until I needed a nap. It was fun.
The best part of Nova Scotia? The ICE CREAM. I think there's an ice cream shop every 5 km. My mom's brother, my uncle John, LOVES ice cream. So do I!
This is me swimming with my life-jacket on. I can swim, don't get me wrong... but I DO NOT like it when my feet can't touch. Mom got me the life-jacket in the hope that she and I could go swimming together, but I just don't like it the way she does.
My next great adventure is that mom is getting me a yard! Starting in about 2 weeks we are going to build a fence and then I'll have a great big yard to run around in! I can't wait!
Oh... and I have to tell you something... we have these things... these birds living in our backyard. They have a fence. They make me very excited. Birds! I love birds!
CHICKENS ARE AWESOME.
More to come later.
Oh GAWD Sunny I love you!
ReplyDeleteWhat did you think of flying in the airplane?
Brandy loves to smell fleurs too. Our yard is fenced but every so often she goes on a neighbourhood adventure. It scares me very much when that happens!
I'm glad you are home.
REMEMBER, the birdies are fun to chase...but they are not to eat!

ReplyDeleteSunny a dog's life seems pretty darn good to me.
ReplyDeleteBirds are awesome
ReplyDeleteWhat a busy summer you had Sunny.
ReplyDeleteYes, Sunny, don't eat the birds.:) Mattie is with you on the swimming. It's for ducks and crazy people, not for sensible dogs [except for maybe Augie].
ReplyDeleteToday I discovered some unread blogs of a friend of a friend of mine.. and they are a TREAT to be reading. ♥ xoxo Sunny
