She took me from *this*... |
She scissor cut my legs. That wasn't so bad. Actually the whole thing wasn't so bad... it's better than being brushed.
Next, a bath. *double sigh*
...to *this*... |
The one good thing about a furcut is that I dry off faster!
...and this! |
I guess it's not so bad. She went crazy on my poor ears but my legs are still fluffy. We had company this afternoon. Some kids came over to help my mom in the chicken coop.
No one made fun of me. One girl even told me she liked my furcut.
See? I still look okay. Still gots de fluffehs! |
I tried to get them to share their ice creams, but no matter how cute I looked, they didn't share.
Mama shared hers. She loves me.
I'm dumping my undercoat to grow a new one for winter. I had to stand (somewhat) still for a while this afternoon, but there's still tons of fur to be brushed out.
ReplyDeleteI think Sunny is, too, given the amount of tangles he had. I am really impressed with the clippers. I got bang-on the right lengths of blades so he has enough fur for winter, but not so much that he is overwhelmed with fur. I figure a trim every couple of months will be good... or at least that's what my friend Roseann tells me. She'd never do anything to distress a dog :) When she comes over Sunny is in ECSTASY. He just about wags his bum right off!
DeleteI swear Sunny just gets cuter and cuter.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing. He shines, he's so cute.
ReplyDeleteSunny, little friend, you look fine. Short earfur is better. You don't get it in your food and water as much.
ReplyDeleteHe's a solid little fella.
ReplyDeleteBrandy gets a 7 or something like that at the groomer. They don't leave anything long. The weight on the ears can make them hot and also contribute to ear issues.
ReplyDeleteYou look cute no matter what!
Oh you is the cutest puppy eva.
