My Favourite Toys...

My mom says this picture reminds her of Sophie and Robin. She's giggling.

I stole the turtle from my mom and the puppy from Ladybug. My other favourite toy is a cat stuffie I liberated from Mew. I also really like a rubber chicken I got from my auntie, Sandra.

Toys are awesome. What are your favourite toys?

  1. Brandy has a few favourite toys. She's always had a Pikachu. She has a turtle, a frog, a duck, and a reindeer. When she got the duck she was so excited she'd only punch it with her paw! Recently, I threw out a couple of her toys that were beyond cleaning. One was a hamburger and the other was an orange dog. I think it was okay...she doesn't play as much as she used to.

  2. Zeus likes a purple monkey that Miki sent me once. He also likes his "sushi" on a stick toy.

    Athena really likes her piggy.

  3. Toys, toys, toys. I have so many, it's almost embarrassing. Besides my own, I have inherited three generations of gently used stuffed animals. It rained all night for the first time in months, and several of my furry friends didn't get inside fast enough. They're in the dryer now. Ooops.

  4. Mattie has a hedgehog that quacks like a duck that she really likes and she gets the well used and tenderized socks which are tied in knots for throw toys which she likes, too. But her favorite toy is her tennis ball.

  5. Cat catz have a bucket of toys in the corner of the living room. Cat brings in new ones every time she shops. Cat catz do not play much anymore. The youngest is 4ish. Baby, when he gets the mood to play, has a round, flat fuzzy thing that is several years old, leapard spotted, and had catnip in it originally... Ozzie's ball is lost currently, but he'll bring Cat things to throw for him still. He's a pretty good retriever for a siamese. Heidi does nothing but hide, poor thing, and mew for attention twice a day (she gets it). Worf... has always, ALWAYS chewed shoe strings. I buy him the round, thick cotton ones made for athletic shoes, and throw them away when they're chewed to death. It's kinda weird to see this chewed up string lying around, but the vet says his teeth are as clean as a kitten's... so I guess he's flossing.

  6. The guys in the tank aren't really that much into toys. I know that now.

The other day at feeding time, I thought it would be a good time to introduce some fun into their lives and flipped a ping pong ball in. At first they pecked at it, well most did, the smart ones hid I guess. And you should have seen the looks I got. I felt like I had been stabbed by ten thousand little eyes.

I now know that they would really rather eat and play chase, or maybe make google eyes at the black intake tube, than play with things. Especially the Fat Brothers, they seemed to be particularly offended.

  7. I have thank Augie for giving me this link Miki. IT is awesome. I am loving what I am seeing/reading. LOL @ you all.

Of course Minx has all of the toys you can imagine but she would rather be outside looking for Skinks to bring inside to play with. Of course I end up picking them up with a great deal of dificulty as they move so fast, and putting them back outside. They quickly get away from her hiding under whatever and when she goes away is when they come out and I catch them. A bit of a hoot really.!
